Kidnapping John: In London

John has been spotted in London having dinner at a Spaghetti House. At least we know Moriarty is feeding his captive.

London!!!

On Saturday I went to London as part of my friends' (Lucy and Alice) 18th Birthday Party. We traveled up to London, went to the London Dungeons and then went for dinner at the Spaghetti House after hours of wandering around convent garden and Leicester Square.

Firstly, The London Dungeons, amazing. Absolutely terrifying, but amazing. I am the perfect candidate for this company, mainly because I am scared of most things and I have a rather active imagination. Which equals one easily scared teenager and therefore perfect for this sort of thing. The thing is with the Dungeons is that it is really good at making you jump and playing mind games, though I won't ruin it for anyone who is planning to go by giving anything away. Although I was scared a lot of the way, it was so much fun and really clever.

My friend is going to absolutely kill me if she finds this but I am going to put it up anyway.

Just look at the middle person's face, hilarious, though I won't name any names. I, by the way, am the one in the orange dress on the right. The birthday girls were the second in from each end.

This was followed by wandering around London, including a nose in the M&M shop in Leicester Square, I don' think I have ever seen so many colours of sweets in all my life. Then when we got hungry, endless wandering to find a restaurant with less than 45 min waiting time. We ended up at the Spaghetti House, not sure where, it was dark and I was starving. I had a pepperoni pizza, not going to lie, it wasn't the best I had ever had and they managed to forget my order, which wasn't great. But I did have a lovely time and our waiter was really nice.

Anyway, I think that is all to report.

Golden Eye

On Saturday My friends and I traveled up to London for our friends party (2 out of 3 triplets), I will say more about our day when I get around to it, but in the meantime I thought that i  would show you the eye make-up that i wore that day. I apologise in advance for the appalling eyebrows and photography skills.

I decided to go for a really golden look, since I was wearing orange with my red satchel and I thought that i would go with the autumn look.

First I put Collection 2000, Lasting Perfection, in  the colour Ivory all over my face, when usually I would only use my tinted moisturiser for everyday wear. I have come to love this foundation, when to start with it was bought because it was cheap, so it has turned out to be a wonderful surprise.

I then dusted Rimmel London, Clear Complexion, Clarifying Powder, with my fluffy brush (sorry I'm not particularly good with the professional lingo, so 'fluffy' will have to do) over the top to reduce the shine on my shiny, shiny face.

On the apples of my cheeks I dusted MUA Makeup Academy, Blusher in Shade 3, using the same fluffy brush.

Now for the eyes, the most important part for this look. I don't have any primer, so I didn't use any. First I used the colour Half Baked on the whole of my eye-lid, which is a really strong gold colour (bottom right) from the urban Decay Bamboo Palette from a few years ago. From the same palette I used the colour Twice baked (top right), a really nice brown, on the outer third of my lid. I don't own any brushes so I just used my finger tips for both application and blending.

I then applied my MUA Makeup Academy, Intense Colour, eyeliner in the colour Jet Black, along the upper and lower lash lines and also along the waterline. This is your average pencil eyeliner, but comes with a really handy sharpener in the lid. I created a ever so slight flick on the outer corners of my eyes.

Finally i used my Collection 2000, Pump up the Volume, Waterproof Mascara, on which I am on to my second. I tend to use a few light coats, waiting in between, so that my eyelashes are defined and not clumpy.

The Chop

For a while now I have been umming and argghing over whether to have my hair cut off. You see all these celebrities with short bobs and I  always thought how nice their hair looked, but then you also see celebrities with lovely long locks, so I was caught deep within the clutches of an indecision loop. Today I finally made a decision.

This was how my hair looked before, it was mid-length, chocolate brown and I was still waiting for my fringe to finally grow out. I was so bored of this straggly mass on the top of my head. So I had it all chopped off!

This is how it looks currently. I love it. I feel completely liberated.
Let me know what you think!!

What do you want to hear?

Instead of me babbling on about nothing all the time, I thought perhaps that I would ask you (that is if there is anyone out there) what they would like me to report on and I will try my very best to respond well. Also I would like to complain about the severe lack of commenting that is occurring, as I have had quite a number of page views and not 1 single comment. How am I doing? I would like to hear, in case I am completely awful and should just give up and stop boring you with my life. Anyhow, that is all I have to say for now.

Thank you and please reply, anything will do.
